Taetanna Aiyako Adams

Personal Data: I am a FSM national swimmer; my main stroke is breaststroke. I live on the island of Pohnpei.  I have been swimming for 8 years, and have been representing the FSM for 4 years. I currently hold 5 national records. I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and I am a Biology major on the pre-med track.

Competition History & Result:

5th Asian Indoor Games in Ashgabat Turkmenistan in 2017.
12th Oceania Championships in Papua New Guinea in 2018.
Fina World Short Course Championships in Hangzhou China in 2018.
Fina World Aquatic Championships in Gwangju South Korea in 2019.
Tokyo 2020 Olympics in 2021 Tokyo, Japan.

Personal Life & Interests:
I enjoy listening to most  music genres  and reading. My favorite tv show is Criminal Minds, and one of my favorite movies is Pride Prejudice and Zombies. When I am not in the pool I am either studying, sleeping,  in the Ocean, hiking or on the basketball court.

Life Goals:
After retiring from swimming my goal is to attend and graduate from medical school.
